Let's write a story

I'm in the mood to write a short story. I don't know what it should be about though.

Give me some ideas of what to write about. I am planning on fiction, so lets start with something that will give me some interesting room to work with when aiming to write a story.

If you can't think of a topic, a name will work. Any made up name you want and I'll write it as a character based on what comes to my head when I hear that name.
