After $32.18 and a couple hours of fun, I've officially upgraded one of our laptops to Windows 7.
There is something energizing about starting fresh on a computer. Re-Installing and downloading programs is sometimes exciting for me.
That was a chunk of my evening tonight.
Time to keep the process up.
I think ITunes is next.
What operating system were you using before upgrading to Windows7 - I assume it's either XP or Vista. I've read a MUCH higher percentage of VISTA pc's are being upgraded than XP pc's. Later, could you blog on your Windows 7 experience compared to either XP or VISTA? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThe computer I upgraded was actually just running an evaluation build of Windows 7.
ReplyDeletePrior to that it had been an Ubuntu machine, but was used to run the evaluation trial of 7.
I am proud to have never owned or consistently used VISTA as nobody has ever given me a good reason to.
(For the Record I'm typing this on my MacBook, not the Windows 7 machine, as I use this most, but still have some Windows needs.)
