Cast Away was on ABC tonight. Jenny had never seen the whole thing so we spent the evening watching it.
I promised her that if I was ever on a deserted island with "x" number of FedEx boxes that I would open every one of them. I see no need to save one.
I can't reason with myself in any way that the possible use of what is inside is less valuable than leaving it unopened.
Wouldn't you open all of them?
My life is lived within parenthesis. My life is not about me, though it may contain some interesting points. The main point is far outside myself and rests with my God/Savior. I seek to tell His story in a different way, a way that you'll understand, a way that will move you, and in a way that draws you into relationship with the Hero of the story.

Um, yeah! Especially since in the movie, he opened all but that one. How dumb is that?
Anyway, now I can say I've seen the movie...not so sure my life is better for it, but I can officially add it to my list.
Yeah, it could have had a fully charged satellite "world phone" in it!
