Architects at Work

For a while in Jenny's childhood she had envisioned herself becoming an architect. Today, she played in that world.

For a couple of hours today, my father sat with his drafting table on his lap, multiple sheets of tracing paper in hand, markers, and Jenny at his side.

They spent the afternoon and some of the evening working on the plans for finishing the upstairs of our house.

Jenny was excited on the way home. Excited with the product they created, and is more excited that the work is moving forward from where it was yesterday. She's hoping to have it finished soon.

That means I've got a lot of work ahead of me.
