Training Time

I had to remind myself today about the time some of the notable Bible characters spent learning before they "did ministry."

Moses on mountains, David shepherding, Jesus in the wilderness.

Some days I wonder if I should be "doing ministry" full-time instead of studying it. Then I remember the times these people had. Times of extensive training, preparing them for the crucial moments that were in their future.

Hopefully, I'll be adequately prepared.
