Becoming Productive (in a new millenium)

This blog was started over 3 years ago. This is the 1,000th time I will hit "publish post" and leave some of my thoughts posted on the internet for anyone to read.

I originally began doing this as a method to think out loud about random questions of faith, Christianity, established church, career and life decisions, and to be consistently writing.

I'm ashamed that most of the last 300 posts or so do not fit in any of those categories. I've realized that I don't clearly understand even what I want from the time I sit and "blog" anymore, but I know that I am not accomplishing it.

I don't know what I want this to be, but I want it to be different. I don't want to feel obligated to post, I don't want to constantly be scrambling for ideas or thoughts to type. I want to share things that are being formed inside me, thoughts that captivate me, theories I struggle with.

I want to express more and re-cap less.

I don't know exactly how things will change, but I hope to use the mile marker of this 1,000th post to refocus myself in how I use this medium.

Congratulations on 1000 posts. I have read each one of them. It is something I look forward to doing everyday. I hope you continue them in some way. I enjoy reading your perspective and feel like I have come to know you better. I am proud of you!
